The SHIELD IDIQ provides a platform for SimIS, Inc. to deliver innovative solutions in digital engineering, systems integration, modeling and simulation, and advanced research and development (R&D) across the Department of Defense. It also enables rapid deployment of next-generation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), for both classified and unclassified programs.

Spanning ten years with an anticipated maximum value of $151 billion, the SHIELD IDIQ covers multiple NAICS codes and contract types, providing broad flexibility to support the DoD's evolving defense priorities.
