At the August AFCEA Luncheon, SimIS received a Certificate of Appreciation from Grassfield High School Technology Academy for participating in their Mentorship Program. The AFCEA Hampton Roads Chapter teamed up with Grassfield to connect small businesses with the program and sponsor the student. This summer, SimIS hosted Mitchell Halman. Mitchell contributed to several projects and worked with SimIS personnel Ryan Ward, Justin Maestri, Michael Neeley, and Jessica Blancett to make this a rewarding experience for all. We look forward to hosting future high school and college interns as we work to support the local educational community and train future stars at SimIS.
